Eligible students may graduate at the end of summer, fall and spring semesters, though commencement occurs only in May.

Time Limit for Earning Degrees

The School of Public Health requires that all master degree programs be completed within seven years, and all doctoral programs within eight years. This time limit applies for both part-time and full-time students. Requests for extension of this policy are subject to approval by the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, based on recommendations from the student’s Academic Program Director.
