Louisiana Transfer Degree

The Louisiana Transfer Associate Degree (LTA) was developed in 2009 to ensure that students completing the 60 hour AA/LT (Associate of Arts) or AS/LT (Associate of Science) can transfer from any state community college to any of the state’s four year universities without losing credit.

By completing specific elective courses within the AS/LT curriculum at a two-year institution, students may meet the admission requirements for undergraduate programs offered at LSUHSC. Admission to these programs is competitive, and earning an AS/LT degree does not guarantee admission.

LTA Programs

Prerequisite course requirements for admission to the following undergraduate programs may be met by earning an AS/LT degree. The specific requirements vary by program, and interested applicants should consult the individual program for specific admission criteria.
