PROS 5503 - PROSTHODONTIC TREATMENT PLANNING SEMINAR

[1-3 Credits]

The resident will learn to develop a systematic and comprehensive treatment and alternatives for a patient with advance Prosthodontic needs. The resident will also learn to correctly assess, diagnose, perform a risk assessment and prognosis for a patient. Residents will present on a rotational basis, which will include a review of the clinical situation; patient analysis, periodontal charting, radiographs, and mounted diagnostic casts. If treatment has commenced, procedures and results to date shall be presented. Upon completion of this course, the resident must be able to correctly gather information, diagnose, develop and sequence a comprehensive treatment plan with alternatives for a patient with advance prosthodontic needs.
