The course will explore health disparities, diversity, and inclusion, and encourage students to critically examine their own experiences and potential biases. The goals of this course are to improve students’ understanding of how determinants of health can influence public policy, planning, and research to promote a healthier society with greater health equity, and increase their cultural competency as developing public health practitioners and scholars.
