INTER 280 - RESPONSIBLE CONDUCT OF RESEARCH II

This course illustrates the issues and dilemmas encountered by scientists conducting research, and continues the discussion topics in INTER 260. Through presentations, guest lectures, case studies, and class discussions, students will be required to use critical thinking as they integrate personal and professional ethical standards. Cases of scientific misconduct will be presented just as they appear in the NIH Guide and the headlines of the news. Students will work in small groups throughout the course.
