ORTHO 5223 - SPECIAL TOPICS IN ORTHODONTICS

The Special Topics in Orthodontics course is designed to expand the information offered to the orthodontic residents through 1) faculty lectures not already incorporated into any other departmental course, 2) through alumni and guest lecturers, 3) through local, regional and national meetings/symposia, and 4) through webinars offered by various professional organizations including the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) and its subsidiary regional constituent organizations, the American Dental Association (ADA), the American Dental Educators Association (ADEA), the American Association for Dental Research (AADR), and dental/orthodontic manufacturing companies. By design, the concept of the course will change each term based on the materials offered by the lectures, organizations and webinar sponsors.
