OCCT 6532 - O.T FOR NEUROLOGICAL CONDITIONS II

Course emphasis is on the provision of occupational therapy services to persons with neurological conditions. Lecture, laboratory and clinical experiences will provide opportunities to develop related skills. This course is designed to apply the knowledge of basic neurological function to the analysis of daily living skills and activities in persons with neurological conditions, including SCI, TBI, ABI, progressive neurological disorders, and pediatric neurological conditions. The LSUHSC Allied Health Student Teaching Clinic is embedded within this course for actual hands-on practice in neurological intervention.
