ANAT 6523 - Human Anatomy for Clinicians

[5 Credits]
This course consists of lectures and a laboratory where students dissect an entire embalmed cadaver. The objectives of this course are to provide the students the opportunity to learn the foundations of the human body and to introduce them to aspects of professionalism. The students learn the basic concepts of anatomy and the clinical applications of such concepts. Didactic lectures and the dissection of a cadaver are supplemented by advanced interactions focusing on applied clinical concepts is designed to emphasize the clinical importance of the anatomy students are learning.
