EHCS 6244 - INTEGRATED ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT FOR PUBLIC HEALTH

This graduate-level course explores the intersection of environmental assessment and public health, drawing from tools that analyze and synthesize existing environmental, social and economic data, to determine the state of the environment and identify management actions. Through theoretical frameworks, practical applications, case studies, and hands-on experiences with assessment tools, students will be equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to assess the impacts of environmental stressors including climate change on various systems and formulate sustainable strategies for mitigation and adaptation.
