CVASC 290 - CARDIOVASCULAR RESEARCH JOURNAL CLUB

This course is designed to expose students to current topics in cardiovascular research. When possible, articles for discussion will be those from upcoming cardiovascular center seminar speakers in an effort to encourage active listening and participation in the seminar series. Current topics in cardiovascular research will include, but not limited to, hypertension, heart failure, cardiometabolic diseases, and stroke. Students attending this journal club will gain up to date knowledge of current cardiovascular research, develop critical scientific thinking and reasoning skills, as well as skills in scientific presentation and effective communication.
