BSDS 6101 - Statistical Methods for Biomedical Sciences

[3 Credits]
General introduction to descriptive and inferential statistics: techniques and principles for summarizing data, estimation, hypothesis testing and study design. Students are instructed on the proper use of statistical software to manage, manipulate, and analyze data and to prepare summary reports and graphical displays. Examples and problems from the biomedical sciences are used throughout. {MS and PhD students enrolled in the School of Graduate Studies only.}
