COUN 5660 - CONTEMPORARY ISSUES IN COUNSELING

This course examines current issues and research in the field of counseling. Emphasis is on interdisciplinary collaborative practice and facilitating models of service delivery that emphasize integrated, comprehensive services that are co-constructed by the client and counselor. Topics may include problem-solving, substance abuse, death and dying, chronic pain, and program evaluation. Topics may vary from semester to semester.
