COUN 6611 - COUNSELING THEORIES AND PRACTICES

[3 Credits]

An examination of the integrative model of the counseling process and a detailed critical review of several major counseling theories relevant to counseling are conducted. Special attention is given to the counseling needs of diverse special population and cultural groups. A goal of the course is to enable students to develop a theoretically based personal approach to counseling.
