COUN 6614 - GROUP PROCESS AND COUNSELING

The dynamics of group interactions are examined from both theoretical and applied perspectives. Topics addressed include types of groups (including peer, support, and problem/issue groups), marriage and family concerns, leadership styles, counselor roles, and models of problem resolution. The student acquires practical experience as both a member and a leader of groups. Prerequisite: COUN 6611 & COUN 6612
