DENT 4135 - ADVANCED ENDODONTICS SELECTIVE

This Endodontics Senior Selective will provide a deeper learning experience into the senior dental student. Students will develop a better understanding of the art and science of endodontics by attending Literature Review, Journal Club, and Clinical Endodontic Seminar with our endodontic residents and faculty. Students will also assist the endodontic residents in developing an endodontic diagnosis and treatment plan, administration of local anesthesia, isolation of both the tooth, completion of canal instrumentation, utilization of different irrigation techniques such as the Sonendo Gentlewave all the way to obturation of the canal system, and restoration or temporization of the tooth.
