NURS 2371 - INTRODUCTION TO PROFESSIONAL NURSING

This theory course provides foundational knowledge necessary for BSN-level nursing practice. Students explore the concepts of nursing education and practice, communication, nursing theory, leadership, ethics, clinical judgment, communication, legal issues, health policy, nursing history, and evidence-based practice. Current trends and issues in nursing are explored.
