NURS 3351 - ADULT HEALTH NURSING THEORY[4 Credits] The Adult Health Nursing Theory Course builds on knowledge from nursing theories and other disciplines including social sciences and humanities. This course emphasizes the development of clinical judgment and the application of the nursing process to provide person-centered care of diverse adult patients. The course integrates theoretical knowledge of health promotion, illness prevention, and disease management to reduce the risk of patient harm and uphold safety, quality, and equitable care of diverse adult patients care. Prerequisites: NURS 2351, 2362, 2372 HLSC 3409, 3410; Co-requisite: NURS 3362 and 3372
