NURS 3362 - ADULT HEALTH NURSING PRACTICUM

[2 Credits]
The Adult Health Practicum course builds upon knowledge from nursing theories and other disciplines, including social sciences and humanities. Students will apply the nursing process to provide safe, high-quality, and equitable care that promotes the health of diverse adult patients and strengthens clinical judgement. This practicum course provides an opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in clinical practice, refining nursing skills to deliver person-centered, high-quality care. Students develop a professional identity encompassing ethics, accountability, and collaboration, promoting evidence-based nursing practice through a 90-hour practicum. Prerequisites: NURS 2351, 2362, 2373, HLSC 3409, 3410; Co-requisites: NURS 3351 and 3372
