NURS 3375 - INTRODUCTION TO PROFESSIONAL NURSING CONCEPTS

This theory course for RN students explores concepts that shape professional practice. Emphasizing the delivery of safe, quality, person-centered, equitable care to diverse populations. Key topics include trends in nursing, legal and ethical implications, the impact of nursing research and evidence-based practice, emerging technoligies, quality and safety initiatives, and the analysis of contemporary issues in nursing practice. Through coursework, studentswill develop their roles as members of the interprofessional team, professionals and leaders within today’s dynamic healthcare environment.
