NURS 3375 - RNBSN INTRODUCTION TO PROFESSIONAL NURSING CONCEPTS[5 Credits] This theory course provides opportunities for RN students to explore concepts that shape professional nursing practice. Emphasizing the delivery of safe, quality, person-centered, equitable care to diverse populations. Key topics include trends in nursing, legal and ethical implications, the impact of nursing research and evidence-based practice, emerging technologies, quality and safety initiatives, and the analysis of contemporary issues in nursing practice. Through coursework, students will develop their roles as members of the interprofessional team, professionals, and leaders within today’s dynamic healthcare environment.
