NURS 4352 - CRITICAL CARE NURSING THEORY

[3 Credits]
This course advances foundational knowledge from prior nursing courses by integrating basic sciences and nursing principles with complexities in acute and critical care adult populations. Emphasizing physiological and psychosocial changes associated with complex health conditions. Students will develop clinical judgment and apply the nursing process to deliver holistic, evidence-based care while supporting patients and families in critical care units. This course fosters interprofessional collaboration, ethical practice, and the use of healthcare technologies to promote safe, effective, and compassionate critical care nursing. Prerequisites: NURS 3345, 3355, 3365, 3358, 3368, 3451. Corequisites: NURS 4362 and 4372.
