NURS 4357 - POPULATION FOCUSED NURSING THEORY[3 Credits] This course prepares students to integrate principles of public health, nursing science, and social sciences in the delivery of population-focused care. Emphasis is placed on applying health promotion and evidence-based frameworks to assess community needs, reduce risk, promote health equity, and manage population health across diverse settings. Students will engage in interprofessional collaboration, quality, and safety initiatives to support equitable outcomes. The course fosters the development of professional identity, cultural humility, and leadership in community and population-focused nursing. Prerequisites: NURS 3345, 3355, 3365, 3358, 3368. Co-requisites NURS 4358
