BSDS 6100 - BIOSTATISTICAL METHODS FOR NURSING

[3 Credits]
Three hours of lecture per week. General introduction to descriptive and inferential statistics: techniques and principles for summarizing data, estimation, hypothesis testing and decision-making. Students are instructed on the proper use of statistical software to manage, manipulate, and analyze data and to prepare summary reports and graphical displays. Examples and problems from the health sciences are used throughout. (School of Nursing doctoral students only.)
