PATH 420 - PATHOLOGY CLINICAL & ANATOMICAL

This elective course is designed for both aspiring pathologists as well as those pursuing other specialties and provides broad exposure to the clinical practice of anatomic and clinical pathology with emphasis on surgical pathology, autopsy pathology, hematopathology, cytopathology, and transfusion medicine. Additional subspecialty exposure may be available upon request. Towards the end of this four-week course, students are expected to give a short presentation of an interesting case they encountered during the rotation. Attendance at resident, departmental, and interdepartmental conferences is required.
