COUN 5640 - FAMILY AND COUPLES COUNSELING

The purpose of this course is to provide students with an introduction to family and couples counseling theory, perspectives of family therapy, along with issues of cultural differences. The basic models of family therapy will be presented in order to assist students in their understanding of relationship dynamics. Students will have an opportunity to apply these models in family therapy role-play.
