Provision of occupational therapy services to individuals with neurological conditions will be addressed. Emphasis on domains of development and factors that challenge and contribute to the successful engagement of occupation through the lifespan. This course is an introduction to neurological diagnoses, specifically stroke and hemiparesis. The course will include lecture and lab components to improve knowledge of assessment, intervention, and patient handling techniques. Clinical experiences will also provide opportunities to develop related skills.
