MCLIN 470 - SERVICE LEARNING ELECTIVE Y4

This elective provides fourth year students the opportunity to participate in service learning in the Student Run Community Clinic (SRCC). Subsequent activities may be approved by the course director as they become available. Activities related to the elective take place throughout the academic year. Students are required to undergo any orientation procedures outlined for the SRCC and any other approved
service learning activities prior to participation. Students must also demonstrate professional behavior at all times while engaged in the activities. Students must complete the equivalent of 12 hours of attendance or other engagement with the activity in order to pass the elective. Students are also required to submit a brief reflection on how their participation in the activity has affected their future development as a physician.
