MCLIN 461 - SENIOR CLINICAL TEACHING

This elective allows students to develop their teaching skills within the fourth year as they engage with more junior learners and learn how to prepare their upcoming roles as residents. Students will teach junior students on the junior clerkship rotations several days per week, which includes development and delivery of conferences and journal clubs, development of teaching materials, and attendance at conferences aimed at teaching skill development. Students will communicate with the faculty course director regarding their activities and will present their deliverable materials at the conclusion of the rotation. Students will complete end-of-course surveys as needed to provide feedback for future course development.
