OFP 5607 - OROFACIAL PAIN BOOK CLUB[1 Credit] This is an in-depth exploration of orofacial pain for first-and second-year Orofacial Pain residents. A new chapter or topic from a textbook in Orofacial Pain is selected every 4-8 weeks. Residents are expected to concisely and effectively review the book chapter chosen by the faculty and summarize the chapter’s highlights, discuss critical concepts, ask questions, and share their thoughts and experiences. Residents are expected to demonstrate a commitment to the educational process. The course objectives are for residents to develop a deep understanding of Orofacial Pain anatomy, physiology, and pathology, improve diagnostic skills for accurately identifying various Orofacial Pain conditions, and master evidence-based treatment planning and modalities, and best practices in Orofacial Pain management.
