MCLIN 462 - Leadership for Healthcare

Leadership is essential in healthcare. All health professionals will serve in some form of leadership during their careers, and will work with multiple teams, usually on a daily basis. This course will discuss models and theories of leadership, self knowledge as a foundation for leadership, teamwork, and managing conflict. Through readings, small group discussion, and practical experience working in teams and assuming leadership roles, the content will be immediately applicable to the transition to residency.
