CPSC 4235 - Respiratory Clinics IV[5 Credits] This course is the final of four clinical courses during which students develop the clinical skills necessary to become a competent respiratory care professional. In this course, students will gain competence in the respiratory care of critically ill patients and patients receiving pulmonary diagnostic tests and pulmonary rehabilitation. Emphasis is placed on advanced monitoring and diagnostic techniques, advance modes of mechanical ventilation, emergency airway management, chronic pulmonary disease management through exercise prescription and education, and application of skills learned in CPSC 3285 , CPSC 3395 , and CPSC 4145 .
