DLT 3114 - Applied Laboratory Techniques I[7 Credits] This course is designed to provide the student with applied experiences in all phases of laboratory procedure. More specifically, the course is so arranged that the student will gain experience in all areas of basic laboratory work, including fixed prosthodontics, complete dentures, as well as laboratory work in ceramics. To reinforce and extend the learning previously acquired in the program, small-group seminars will be held periodically. DLT students work closely with the senior dental students fabricating dental restorations in partial support of the school clinics. Communication with the dental team, professionalism, and work ethic is emphasized.
