NURS 3365 - Child Health Nursing Practicum

[3 Credits]
This course provides the student with clinical opportunities in caring for children from birth to adolescence. The student will apply the nursing process while delivering care to children in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. The educational focus is concerned with the development of clinical, communication, teaching and management of care skills in the care of children and their families. This practicum builds upon information presented in previous nursing courses, basic sciences, health assessment and pathophysiology. [135 hours practicum] .
