CPSC 3395 - RESPIRATORY CLINICS II[3 Credits] This course is the second of four clinical courses during which students develop the clinical skills necessary to become a competent respiratory care professional. In this course, students will gain competence in the respiratory care of adult patients in critical care units and pediatric patients receiving non-intensive care. Emphasis is placed on introduction of monitoring techniques, blood gas sampling and analysis, mechanical ventilation, patient weaning and extubation, and application of skills learned in CPSC 3285.
