BCHS 7202 - HEALTH BEHAVIOR CHANGE[3 Credits] This is an advanced course on theoretical and practical aspects of health behavior change. The course is designed to provide an understanding of theoretical issues and current methodologies influencing health behavior change. Several models of health behavior change will be studied in detail. The strengths and shortcomings of these models for the development and evaluation of interventions at individual, community and system levels will be critically assessed. Students will be expected to translate their knowledge into practical interventions for health behavior change.
