DENT 2132 - PRE-CLINICAL LABORATORY PROCEDURES

[24 Credits]
This course allows dental students the opportunity increase their experiences with laboratory techniques necessary for performing comprehensive care to patients and fabricating indirect restorations. Included in this course will be Impression taking and tissue retraction, pouring working models in die stone, mounting models in proper occlusion, contouring metal crowns for proximal contact and occlusion, and finishing and polishing metal crowns for delivery to the patient.
