GENET 236 - GENECTIC EPIDEMIOLOGY AND POPULATION GENETICS[3 Credits] Three hours of lecture per week. An introduction to the fundamental elements of mathematical and population genetics. Topics include probability, Bayes’ therorem, Hardy Weinberg equilibrium, inbreeding, selection, mutation, models for polygenic and multifactorial inheritance, linkage and simple segregation analysis. Prequisite: 231.
