ENHS 6245 - HEALTH RISK ASSESSMENT AND MANAGEMENT[3 Credits] This course provides students with the knowledge and methodology to determine whether current or future chemical exposures will pose health risk to certain population or ecosystems. The objectives of this course are (1) to provide the concept of environmental health risk assessment, (2) to understand the basic components of risk assessment, (3) to understand the methods for risk analysis and management, (4) to familiarize with different toxicological databases and resources (5) to familiarize with the regulatory aspect of risk assessment (6) to provide the skills of effective risk communication.
