HLSC 2410 - HUMAN PHYSIOLOGY[4 Credits] Basic principles of the function, regulation, and coordination of the various organs and tissues of the human body are presented. Fundamental reaction capabilities of organic molecules and their functional groups, and the basic principles of physiological chemistry are presented. Laboratory experiments emphasize observation and interpretation, and are correlated closely with the lectures, and are chosen on the basis of understanding normal physiological mechanisms. 4 hours lecture and 2 hours laboratory. Prerequisite: General biology, microbiology. Corequisite: HLSC 2412.
