NURS 4350 - CAMP NURSING[2 Credits] Emphasis is on the application of the nursing process in assisting individuals and or groups to cope with various levels of wellness and client independence. Increasingly complex behaviors are expected as students implement the nursing process in a selected camp setting with children and/or adolescents offering students clinical learning experiences in a community nursing. In addition to these experiences, the student will implement the teaching/learning process and work within the health care team. Prerequisite: NURS 3355, 3356, 3368, and 3358 or permission of the instructor.
