The Department of Clinical Rehabilitation and Counseling at LSUHSC offers a Master of Health Sciences degree in Clinical Rehabilitation and Counseling (MHS-CRC). The program offers two tracks, Clinical Rehabilitation & Counseling (CRC) and Clinical Mental Health (CMH).
Departmental Admissions Process
Admissions are conducted once a year for matriculation into the MHS-CRC programs. Each year Applications received by May 15 (for Fall), and November 1 (for Spring) will be given priority. Applications received after the priority deadlines will be considered on a space available basis. The application can be found online at http://ahcas.com/applicant-ux/#/login.
Part-time study is available. Students anticipating special accommodations for the application and/or admission procedures should contact the department for assistance.
The department is committed to admitting a qualified and diverse group of students for each class. A strong commitment to the field of counseling is weighed heavily in the application process.

Information is provided on the counseling field and scope of practice, program curriculum, class schedule, employment opportunities, application/admission requirements, etc. These sessions are held in the School of Allied Health, Human Development Center building, 411 S.
