PHTH 7132 - MOVEMENT SCIENCES II[4 Credits] A continuation of PHTH 7131, this course focuses on the application of biomechanical and musculoskeletal principles in the analysis of human movement. This course includes analysis of the human movement system as a whole with emphasis placed on the interplay of individual joint segments in creating and responding to different movement types (gait, transfers, exercise, etc.). This course also explores the role of the cardiopulmonary system’s response to gait and exercise as well as the importance of metabolic pathways for movement.
