DHY 3105 - PRE-CLINIC

This lecture and laboratory course includes the fundamentals of dental hygiene in preparation for providing dental hygiene services in the clinical setting. An introduction to the dental/dental hygiene profession, dental hygiene instrumentation, patient management, oral health education, and other dental hygiene clinical procedures are an integral part of the course. Dental hygiene instrumentation experience is gained through practice on dental mannequins and student partners.
