BIOS 3115 - BASIC STATISTICS[3 Credits] A study of scientific methodology and the use of statistics in design and analysis of studies in the health sciences. Consideration is given to fundamentals of sample selection, measures of central tendency, measures of variation, correlation coefficients, and tests of hypotheses. 3 hours lecture. Prerequisite: college algebra.
