HLSC 4411 - Interdisciplinary Care of the Dying Client and Family

[2 Credit]
The course focuses on the special needs of the client who is dying, as well as the family. Emphasis will be placed on the emotional stages of dying, major problems faced by the dying client and family, roles of the interdisciplinary team members to solve these problems, the special needs of the survivors during the bereavement period, and measures of support for the professional caregiver. Prerequisite: NURS 3355 ,NURS 3365 , NURS 3358 , and NURS 3368  or permission of the instructor.
